Can air conditioning or fans exacerbate sensitive skin during the summer, and how can I mitigate this?

Air conditioning and fans can sometimes exacerbate sensitive skin during the summer. Cold, dry air from air conditioning can strip the skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation. Fans can also dry out the skin and cause irritation, especially if they blow directly on the face or other sensitive areas.

To mitigate the effects of air conditioning or fans on sensitive skin, try to keep the air moist by using a humidifier or placing bowls of water around the room. You can also use a moisturizer to help replenish the skin's natural oils and prevent dryness. Additionally, try to avoid sitting directly in front of the air conditioning or fan, and wear lightweight, breathable clothing to help prevent chafing and irritation.
